Jet Vehicle Finance is dedicated to offering you the very best service, and for you to happy with your vehicle and finance.

Please read this document carefully, to help you decide  if our products & services are right for you.

Whose products do we offer?

We can only offer products from a limited panel of lenders for vehicle finance. Please ask us for a list of lenders from whom we can offer finance.

Different lenders may pay us a commission for introducing you to them. You can request from us the amount of any commission payable in good time before the agreement is made.

Which service will we provide you with?

You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us for vehicle finance. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

We are a broker not a funder or IFA (Independent Financial Adviser). We may receive remuneration from a lender we introduce you to.

What will you have to pay us for our services?

We charge an administration fee for our broking services of £199.99.

Please refer to you quotation or ask your customer service representative if you are unsure of the administration fee.  This is only payable should your application be successful and proceeds to a vehicle order from you.  Whilst we do not charge a cancellation fee, the adminstration fee is not refundable if you cancel your order.

The administration can be paid for in the following ways.

By cheque made payable to Jet Vehicle Finance ltd

By bank transfer – our accounts team will be pleased to provide account details.

 

In addition to the fees charged by Jet Vehicle Finance, the lender may also charge their own fees. These include but are not limited to: documentation fees, option to purchase fees, excess mileage charges or administration fees.

Commissions

The Financial Conduct Authority expects any intermediary to disclose to the customer that a commission may be payable by the owner or creditor to the intermediary, and, if the customer asks, the amount of that commission. The Financial Conduct Authority has made it clear that ‘commission; means any financial consideration.

If you enter into a lease agreement with any of the partner funders/lenders arranged by us, we are paid a commission once your agreement is live. This commission may be pre set but may be variable and may affect the amount payable.

Who regulates us?

Jet Vehicle Finance is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our reference number is 5510876. Our permitted business is credit broking and we act as an intermediary to a panel of lenders.

We are a broker member of the (BVRLA) British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, our membership number is 1692

We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office for the purposes of Data Protection, our registration number is Z923718X.

What to do if you have a complaint

If you have a complaint about us, please let us know by writing to  :

If you complain in writing we will reply in writing within five working days to acknowledge your letter. If your complaint was via email we will send an acknowledgement email within five working days. This communication will confirm the details of your complaint and ask you to check the details are correct.

If we cannot resolve your complaint within four weeks of receipt, we will update you and let you know of our investigation and to advise when we will write to inform you of our decision.

If we are unable to reach a decision sooner, we will contact you no later than eight weeks from the date we first received your complaint. We will then tell you our final decision.  When we investigate your complaint, we will take into account what you tell us. We will reach our final decision based on the outcome of our investigations and what you have told us.

We will also give you details on how you take your complaint further with BRVLA arbitration if you do not agree with our decision. Details can also be found @ www.bvrla.co.uk or email complaint@bvrla.co.uk

We will assess complaints according to the law and the principles and guidance’s produced by the BVRLA. If we change our decision, we will write to you giving details of our revised decision and why we reached it.   Consumer Credit Customers also have the legal right to refer unresolved disputes to the Financial Ombudsman Service within six months from the date of the final decision at www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm
